Abdur Rehman is a fractional CTO and AI engineer who designs and ships AI agents, automations and SaaS products for companies worldwide, including FindRE, an AI-powered CRM for real-estate investors, and PropVPS, a hosting platform taken from a Lovable prototype to production.
I’m a fractional CTO and AI engineer. I work with a small number of companies at a time, as a technical partner rather than a pair of hands: I start with the business problem, choose the simplest system that solves it, and see it through to launch.
Most of my projects begin with something a person does by hand every day: chasing follow-ups, copying details between tools, typing up notes, setting up servers. They are finished when nobody has to think about that work anymore.
I also build and run my own software products, so I think about users, revenue and cost the way an owner does, not only about the code.
Some companies hand me one system to build. I also work as a fractional CTO: senior technical leadership for part of the week, from someone who still writes the code.

The business problem comes first
I start with what the work costs you today and what would change if it ran on its own. The technology is chosen after that, not before.
The simplest system that solves it
Sometimes that is an AI agent. Sometimes it is a small automation. I would rather build the smaller thing that works than the impressive thing that needs looking after.
