Should I use n8n, Zapier, Make or custom code?
Use n8n when you want control, fair pricing at volume and the option to self-host. Zapier and Make are fine for a handful of simple zaps. Custom code is the right call when the logic is complex, the volume is high, or the workflow is a core part of your product.
I will tell you which one fits, including when the honest answer is a small script.
Can n8n connect to Xero?
Yes. n8n talks to Xero through its API, so a form submission can create a draft quote or invoice with line items and attachments. A person still reviews and sends it, which keeps the accounting clean.

What happens when a workflow fails?
Steps retry automatically where that is safe, and you get an alert with the details when something needs a person. Nothing fails silently.
How does pricing work?
After a short call I send a fixed quote for an agreed scope, so you know the cost before work starts. Larger builds are split into milestones.
Do I own the code?
Yes. The code lives in your repository and runs on your accounts. You own the code, the accounts and the data, so you are never locked in to me.
